Brechin is set to host one of Scotland’s most ambitious new music events this summer as Summer’s End Angus makes its debut at Brechin Castle Showgrounds from 14-16 August 2026.

Organisers have pulled together an extraordinary and multi-generational line-up that spans pop, soul, dance, and more, featuring major headliners including The Jacksons, Sugababes, Rudimental, UB40, Emeli Sandé, Pixie Lott, Bonnie Tyler, and local favourite Cammy Barnes, alongside over 50 additional acts across three stages.

The festival promises a true all-ages experience, with camping and glamping options, shuttle buses, VIP packages, artisan food vendors, and a dedicated family zone complete with activities for younger attendees.

    Ambitious Debut for Angus

Local entrepreneur and festival organiser Katrina Hutchinson-O’Neill has been praised for her vision in bringing a major event to the area. The Courier reported on her ambitions, quoting her as saying: “Summer’s End Angus isn’t just about music – it’s about pride, opportunity, and lasting change. We’re bringing something special here to spark energy not just for a weekend, but hopefully for years to come.”

The Courier has provided extensive coverage of the festival’s development, from initial announcements of The Jacksons headlining to updates on the full line-up and practical details for attendees.

    What to Expect

    • Three stages: The Main Stage for big-name headliners, The Garden (with a female-forward focus on Sunday), and The Big Top for indie, comedy, and emerging local talent.
    • Facilities: On-site camping and glamping, dedicated shuttle buses, VIP experiences with perks like fast-track entry and premium facilities, artisan street food, bars, and a family-friendly zone.
    • Capacity: Expect around 10,000–12,000 revellers per day at the historic showground venue.

Tickets and add-ons are available now via the official festival website: summers-end.com.

Music fans and families in Angus and beyond are already buzzing about the event, which positions Brechin firmly on the summer festival map. With its mix of legendary acts, modern chart favourites, and strong local support, Summer’s End Angus looks set to deliver an unforgettable weekend.
