    Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of music as legendary Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones headlines a spectacular event at Dundee Waterfront!

    On Sunday, July 27, Slessor Gardens will host the iconic musician as part of his Defy Explanation tour, promising an incredible evening of live performance in the heart of Dundee.

    This exciting show is part of the Discovery Festival, which is set to kick off a fantastic three-day music celebration. The line-up for Friday features the beloved Ocean Colour Scene and Scots rockers The Fratellis, famous for their hit Chelsea Dagger’ along with White Lies and local talent Cammy Barnes.

    The fun continues on Saturday with 80s Calling!, featuring iconic acts like The Human League, ABC, The Christians, Big Country, Toyah, Altered Images, and T’Pau, making it a weekend to remember.

    Discovery Festival Lineup:
    – Friday, July 25: Ocean Colour Scene, The Fratellis, White Lies, Cammy Barnes
    – Saturday, July 26: 80s Calling! featuring The Human League, ABC, The Christians, Big Country, Toyah, Altered Images, T’Pau
    – Sunday, July 27: Sir Tom Jones, with more artists to be confirmed

    A spokesperson for the Liz Hobbs Group, the event organizers, expressed their excitement: “We’re thrilled to announce a third and final day of incredible music at Dundee’s Slessor Gardens, rounding off the weekend with a legendary performance from Sir Tom Jones. It’s set to be an unforgettable weekend, and we can’t wait for fans to come together, sing along to iconic classics, and celebrate an amazing few days of live music in Dundee.”

    Tickets for this much-anticipated event will be available for general sale at £55 plus booking fee, starting at 10 am on Friday, February 21.
